Our philosophy

We will cultivate students’ international awareness and understanding so that they can be open-minded toward foreign cultures in the future. We require students to develop their curiosity and creativity. Furthermore, we hope to foster in every student a positive attitude and will to challenge new things throughout his/her academic career.

Features of education

1. Learn widely and deeply

・To set sights on universities,
・Classes according to students’ learning levels, small classes
・Seven lessons of 45 minutes
・Special lectures by public figures such as researchers and experts on various subjects
・Makeup lessons after school and during long vacations

2. Education for an international way of thinking

・Sister schools or exchange schools in America, France and Australia.
・School trips and language study in foreign countries
・Instructions for TOEIC and Test in Practical English Proficiency (EIKEN)
・Approval of credits of foreign high schools

3. Education for social skills

・Promotion of morals and human rights education
・Promotion of the relationship with local communities
・Promotion of positive attitude toward school and club activities

4. Introduction of each course

KOKUSAI EIGO-KA (International English Course)
・Education aimed at the acquisition of communicative English skills
・Practical English learning is offered through lessons of English Conversation and Interpretation and Translation
・We expect that students will become experts in English who can take active roles in the world by using their broad knowledge
KOKUSAI COMMUNICATION-KA (International Communication Course)
・Education aimed at acquiring knowledge about Japanese culture and foreign cultures
・Other foreign languages such as French, Spanish, Korean and Chinese are offered
・Area Study (Asuka-Gaku) and Japanese Expression lessons are available
・We expect that students will become proficient in English and can take active roles in the world by using communicative skills
FUTSU-KA (General Course)
The general course was started last year
・Education aimed at learning basic academic skills
・Students can choose either humanities courses or science courses according to their
career interests
・We expect that students will become creative and independent citizens in the future
